Note: Shelby is a 2001 BLM mustang mare from the Maverick Medicine HMA. True to the herd she is very sweet but extremely shy and takes a while to bond with new people.

She's low in the pecking order but gets along well in the pasture.

She would do best in a home with a lot of turn out and people that are understanding of her past. 

She has enjoyed being groomed lately. 

Shelby is available as a companion horse only and won't be available for riding. At this time she isn't on any maintenance medications or special feeds. 

She can be challenging for the vet and the farrier and will need an adopter with some horse knowledge.
